Highly recommended!! In "Jesus Among Other Gods", Ravi Zacharias demolishes the modern notion that all religions are equal. By comparing the God of the Bible to the gods of Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism, the author demonstrates that the claims of Christ are unique among all those beings who would claim godhood.

The well-educated Zacharias writes in a high style, and the book is more appropriate for older teens or adults.  A basic understanding of philosophy and logic are helpful, but not required.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE OUR ANNUAL HOMECOMING A HUGE SUCCESS!!  

 

  We had a standing room only crowd and we were humbled by the outpouring of love and support.  Thanks to the wonderful folks from New Beginning Tabernacle that provided the delicious meal! Once again, Bro. Terry Rhodes was our gracious emcee for the evening.  Town and Country Florist provided the beautiful plants that adorned the stage. 

 The Hinsons sang and shared from their hearts with such a sweet spirit!  Watch for their next radio release from Favor soon!  Call your local radio stations and request their music!  We were truly honored to worship and visit with them. Hold them up in prayers as God continues to use them to spread the word through song.

Update - Monday, August 18, 2008

We visited with Ronnie and Kathy yesterday and her speech is greatly improved!  Praise the Lord!  She is walking now and I believe we are going to continue to see great progress. Keep praying!

Kathy is still undergoing therapy and making improvements.  Continue to pray for her and her family.
